Reinforcing Mesh
Reinforcing steel or iron is often used to stregthen concrete because although strong under compression, concrete has a tendency to break under tension. Rebars, also called concrete mesh or fabric mesh are added to give it greater tensional strength. Reinforcement mesh comes in a variety of patterns and wire sizes for different construction pruposes including: concrete structures such as bridges, roads and tunnels, as well as masonry reinforcement projects, wall elevations etc.
