Sales Person

Department: Sales

Location: Smethwick, Birmingham, B66 2EP

Reporting to: Sales Manager

 Major Aims: 

  • To answer in-bound calls promptly and efficiently
  • Take advantage of sales enquiries to generate orders and increase sales
  • Ensure total customer satisfaction at all times


Qualifications required:

  • No formal qualifications required, but maths and English are desirable
  • Good telephone manner
  • Previous sales experience preferable
  • Computer literate
  • Customer service skills

Basic Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To answer in-bound calls and take customer enquiries / orders
  • To produce and maintain quotations on FHB systems
  • Serve customers at the trade counter when required
  • To make follow up or prospect calls to customer
  • To contact customer in the event of the customer’s order being late as agreed at the time of order
  • To raise customer cares on the FHB systems when a customer reports a problem on receipt of an order

Working hours: 

  • Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
