Welded Wire Mesh Case Study

In 2009, FH Brundle, the UK’s leading wholesale distributor of welded wire mesh supplied mesh for the construction of 2 interactive book installations, commissioned and produced by the South Bank Centre as part of the Imagine Children’s Literature Festival and held at the world renowned Royal Festival Hall in London. The Bibliomancer’s Dream, which returned to the Clore Ballroom for a second year was inspired by the ancient art of bibliomancy. The structure conceived and designed by Alinah Azadeh, Willow Winston and with the participation of Terence Williams also had an extension called 'Dream On' at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and was described as a “medieval ipod shuffle”. The installations appealed to people of all ages, providing a myriad of books and catering for children and adults alike.
