We would like to offer a huge thank you to every single person who has taken the time and put so much effort into your entries for our recent sculpture commission competition.<\/p>\n

Outstanding Entries<\/h2>\n

Choosing from the outstanding level of entries we received involved making some very tough decisions with many other entrants very close to making the shortlist. The high standard of entries is a tribute to the talent that is out there. It has been a privilege to look through all your work and ideas, and we wish you well in the future.<\/p>\n

We would like to offer a huge thank you to every single person who has taken the time and put so much effort into your entries. We do appreciate it.<\/p>\n

We have been in awe of some of the brilliant ideas and the many talented people who have sent in their ideas. We have had an absolutely amazing response. Some of your work is truly outstanding and looking at your pictures and websites has blown us away.<\/p>\n

We received well over 100 entries, from people with lots of experience and people just starting out, professional sculptors, blacksmiths, students, artists and fabricators, both from the UK and overseas, so perhaps you can understand how hard it has been to whittle all these fantastic entries down to a shortlist.<\/p>\n

Creative Suggestions<\/h2>\n

Your creative suggestions have been so varied; ranging from modern contemporary pieces to traditional sculptures and have been really well thought out with strong links to F H Brundle.<\/p>\n

Sadly not everyone can win in a competition, and we have deliberated long and hard to get to the right choice for our particular space, with some marvellous ideas missing out, unfortunately, even though they might have been perfect for a different location.<\/p>\n

In the end, we came up with a shortlist of three people and in alphabetical order they are:<\/p>\n
