F.H. Brundle<\/a>, the UK\u2019s largest stockist of steel and wrought iron components, handrails and balustrades, fencing, welded wire mesh, and expanded and perforated metal products, has kicked off 2022 with the opening of a state-of-the-art new branch.<\/p>\n

The long-standing family firm has moved its existing Haydock site to a new location in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside.<\/p>\n

The cutting-edge facility can stock over 10,000 products, with more than 3,000 individual bins, and more than 1,000 pallet spaces.<\/p>\n

\"\"It incorporates its own dedicated sales desk, as well as a trade counter for free collection, and a showroom displaying a wide range of the company\u2019s products.<\/p>\n

To ensure customer orders are picked and packed with both speed and accuracy, warehouse staff have access to handheld technology to help locate and organise items in stock, as well as automated steel cutting equipment.<\/p>\n

F.H. Brundle Director Michael Brundle comments:<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter 15 years at Haydock, it became clear we\u2019d begun to outgrow our existing site, and that if we were going to continue offering an outstanding service to customers around the region, we needed to expand.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was a big decision. It\u2019s taken us two and a half years, and extensive investment, to get the new site in Newton-le-Willows to where we want it to be.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, that effort was more than worth it. The new facility is a dramatic improvement on what we had before, and leaves us excellently placed to continue serving valued customers in the area for many years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n
