Roof Edge Guardrail
F.H.Brundle's roof edge guardrail range covers four freestanding and fixed systems for working at height on flat, pitched, and profiled roofs, compliant with BS EN 14122-3, EN 13374, and the BS 13700 counterweighted guardrail standard. The Defender is the core freestanding option: no fixings, welding, or drilling required, with curved PVC counterweights protecting the roof membrane. Posts are 1,100mm x 48mm galvanised steel with integral toe plate and locking collar, suitable for asphalt, coated steel, concrete, and mineral felt roofs; available as Economy, Standard, or Plus kits with straight and curved variants. The Foldshield uses the same 48.3mm galvanised tube and counterweight components but adds a folding base for slopes up to 10 degrees, collapsing flat when not in use. Topfix is a fixed solution for metal profile and standing seam roofs up to 45-degree pitch, with a multi-centre base plate riveted to the roof sheet in 1.5m and 3m configurations rated to 95mph winds. Roof Domes provide modular skylight and roof hatch fall protection in three sizes up to 4.0 x 2.0m.
