Mezzanine Handrail
The Mezzirail system is F.H.Brundle's dedicated mezzanine handrail solution for industrial and warehouse environments, conforming to BS 4592-0:2006+A1:2012 for flooring, stair treads, and handrails for industrial use. Posts are BZP 50 x 50 x 2.5mm square RHS, 1,130mm high, available as intermediate, end, corner, and plain intermediate variants (no slot). The rail tube is 33.7mm x 2.0mm BZP with internal seam removed, connected via galvanised ductile iron Mezzirail connectors with stainless steel M12 screws or standard 149B sleeve joints. Side-fix posts for angles (25SFIS, 1,130mm) and for flats (25SFI, 1,250mm) allow the system to be mounted to the mezzanine structure rather than the floor. The kick plate is a 150 x 6mm galvanised flat bar (3,000mm lengths) fixed using BZP 69 x 69 x 4.7mm kick plate brackets; a folded 100 x 1.5mm pre-galvanised alternative is also stocked. Hot dip galvanised side palm connections suit 33.7mm and 42.4-48.3mm tube for non-standard fixing arrangements. The complete post system is also available priced per metre including kick plate (25MPR50, galvanised). Powder-coated finish is available for external use. Compatible pallet gates and kick plates and fixings are stocked separately.
