Wire Rope System

F.H.Brundle's Wire Rope System is a Grade 316 stainless steel infill range for residential and commercial handrail and balustrade applications. Available in 3mm and 6mm diameters in 10m, 50m, and 100m coils, it provides a cost-effective, contemporary alternative to crossbar or glass infill. Wire rope can be fixed to timber, metal, brick, or masonry, with self-locking, crimped, or glued terminations supporting straightforward on-site assembly. The range includes pre-assembled and bespoke post systems, plus a dedicated fittings range. Systems 1 and 2 use swageless or swaged connectors with pre-assembled 48.3mm posts, including seven-hole end or mid posts, 14-hole mid posts, and 14-hole corner posts. Systems 3 to 6 use bespoke posts with articulated tensioners, cable fittings, and angled rope holders for 42.4mm and 48.3mm tube, accommodating upward or downward angles up to 35 degrees. Systems 7 and 8 suit timber posts, using swageless tensioners with M6 threads for 3mm wire and M8 threads for 6mm wire.
