Jockey Wheels

F.H.Brundle supplies a range of galvanised jockey wheels for gate support, designed to carry the weight of large or heavy swing gates and ensure smooth, reliable operation. Also known as gate support wheels or gate wheels, jockey wheels are fitted to the leading edge of a gate and bear its load against the ground, preventing sag on long or heavily used installations. The range covers three wheel diameters: 275mm, 375mm, and 400mm, with each size suited to different gate weights and spans across residential, agricultural, and commercial applications.

All jockey wheels in the range feature a spring-loaded mechanism, which maintains constant ground contact across uneven or sloping surfaces and allows a degree of vertical travel to accommodate changes in ground level. The galvanised finish provides corrosion resistance for external use, making them suitable for driveway gates, field gates, and industrial yard gates exposed to the elements.
