The DIR's operation principle consists of auto-synchronising the infrared beams between receiver and transmitter; this operation happens upon connection between the devices.  This condition establishes that every receiver installed can only work when matched to its own transmitter, thereby excluding any possible interference from other apparatus in the system.

All the photo-electric cells of both the DIR and DOC series can be installed both internally and externally by using suitable assembly accessories.  Flexibility is guaranteed, with installation solutions possible on several different heights.
