Posts are optional. Depending on where you are installing the gates, you may or may not need either full or wall-mounted posts. If the gates are being installed between two, structurally secure walls or pillars, then posts will only be needed if you need to reduce the size of the opening. We recommend posts for all other installation scenarios. Wall-mounted posts can be used to on existing concrete fence posts, but please ensure you have the right tools and fixings to do so.
