Pre-galvanised steel planks are formed from pre-coated sheets, which leaves raw edges exposed to the elements once holes are punched or sections are cut. Post-galvanised planks (such as our Rhinomixte range) undergo hot-dip galvanising after manufacturing is complete. This process seals every individual burst edge, open aperture, and weld point in protective zinc, offering superior corrosion resistance and preserving the profile of the slip-resistant surface in demanding outdoor environments.
