When your pedestal height reaches 800mm or more, fit a big fixing collar (84COLLAR, Ø 230mm) around the shaft, then attach connecting rods to brace it against adjacent pedestals. Two rod sizes are available: 84RODS (adjustable 340–500mm, suits tile sizes 480–610mm) and 84RODL (adjustable 500–750mm, suits tile sizes 640–910mm). This bracing prevents lateral movement under load and is especially important on elevated roof terraces exposed to wind.
