Deciding what you need or simply seeking inspiration?
You’d normally have to choose if the lines in your garden are going to be straight or curving. But the cross-compatible Straightcurve range allows you to mix & match. Choose from the following 3 styles:
The Straightcurve Flex range is great for organic and flowing lines. Since the lengths flex rather than bend you can easily make all curves by hand on site as you go.
The Straightcurve Rigid range is ideal for firm straight-line designs, with the Rigid Garden Edging lines offering just enough give to allow a very gentle curve, where needed.
Straightcurve Zero-Flex products are all best suited to establishing lasting, perfectly straight, unmovable lines courtesy of the continuous top fold and grounding feet.
The Weathering Steel Finish
The manufacturing process of weathering steel will leave the surface in a dark, almost black state. The weathering process sees this layer break down first before the desired protective patina layer can be established.
Once installed, wash with warm soap and water to remove the protective coating and encourage the development of an even patina – this may take weeks or months depending on weather conditions.
The change of colour occurs because of the natural process of patina formation upon the surface giving it the timeless rusty look. This process is a result of exposure to the elements; in particular, moisture and air. It’s difficult to predict the pace of this colouration as it depends on various local circumstances and the season of installation. In more humid conditions or wetter seasons, you can see a change occurring within days and weeks, though it can still take months for a solid even patina to develop.
