Straightcurve® is a range of modular, pre-drilled steel edging, planters and raised bed system, prepared for on-site self-assembly using basic hand tools. It is supplied in Flex and Rigid formats that share the same connection plates, so a single scheme can combine sweeping curves with formal straight runs without switching suppliers or materials. Panels are precision-engineered in either weathering steel, a material that forms its own protective surface rather than relying on paint or a coating, or a galvanised finish. The galvanised finish is also suitable for painting and powder coating, allowing you to customise your Straightcurve® installation.

Cross-compatibility for endless layouts
Because Flex and Rigid share the same fixings, they can be combined within one scheme: a curved bed transitioning into a straight path edge, for example, using identical hardware throughout. Why steel edging outlasts the alternatives
Straightcurve® is available in two finishes: weathering or galvanised steel. The weathering finish develops a stable, rust-coloured patina on the surface rather than corroding through. It shields the steel beneath from further deterioration. This sets it apart from painted or galvanised edging, which can chip, flake or corrode once the coating is compromised, exposing bare metal underneath. It also means zero maintenance is required.
The galvanised finish is protected by a hot-dip zinc coating, offering superior weather resistance and long-term durability. Where standard carbon steel breaks down through destructive rusting, galvanised steel relies on sacrificial protection – the zinc shell corrodes in place of the base metal, continuously sealing it against dampness, air, and soil pollutants. The result is total structural integrity built to last for decades.

What sits within the Straightcurve® range
The garden edging itself comes in Flex, Rigid and Zero-Flex formats, in 75, 100 and 150mm heights, supplied as one or four-piece kits depending on the length of run a job requires. The raised bed range follows the same logic but at a larger scale, adding a Zero-Flex option for perfectly straight, unmovable borders alongside Flex and Rigid, in 240mm, 400mm and 560mm heights, supplied as one or two-piece kits.
Planter boxes complete the range, built from 2mm precision-engineered weathering steel panels joined with concealed fittings for a clean seam and a finished look rather than a visible bracket. A 45mm top edge gives each planter a boxy, deliberate profile, and was specified with safety around children and pets in mind. For a brief that falls outside the standard sizes, bracing accessories and joining sets allow a custom planter panel to be ordered to almost any size or shape, so an unusual layout is never a reason to fall back on a fabricated alternative.
