Fortitude Traditional railings are attractive and easy to install with innovative pre-welded panels and simple bracket system providing a secure 1100mm balustrade.
When compared to conventional metal railings, Fortitude Traditional can reduce on-site installation time with its range of adaptable components and the innovative adjustable panel, that can be taken to site and installed there and then, saving you valuable time and money on expensive bespoke fabrications. Ideal for railing installation on stairs and slopes, whilst concealing the pivot points of each spindle.
The Fortitude range of components, with its quality welding and premium anti-rust powder-coated finish, provides superior performance in strength and safety. Fortitude components are available in a black sand finish and will help create a virtually maintenance-free system designed for residential use in any environment.

Our unique adjustable raking panel massively reduces installation time – fitting any staircase pitch.
Fortitude Traditional’s unique adjustable raking panel can be fitted to provide a railing on any residential staircase, up to a 40˚ pitch.
The beauty of this solution is in how it is engineered. Each fixing and each inner bar is individually hinged, allowing the raking panel to be fitted between posts to offer the required gradient. This completely removes the need for any welding or fabrication of the system, which drastically reduces installation time and cost.
Standard panel size Height 863mm x Width 2320mm to give 1100mm finished rail height.

Bolt-down Posts
Supplied with base cover plate & protective cap. For fixing bolts use code 5002HCS1075. Posts can be cut to size for use on staircases.
Our 50mm and 75mm bolt-down posts are also available with pre-drilled holes to be used with our superior horizontal angle bracket or superior universal bracket only. These posts have a nominal wall thickness of 2.3mm.
Concrete-in Posts
Available in both 50mm and 75mm widths, with a nominal wall thickness of 2.3mm , precisely 407mm of the post should be below ground level to offer optimal support. Post concrete sold separately.
Side-fix Posts
Premium powder-coated aluminium posts complete with fascia bracket and fixing screws. All posts walls are 3mm thick, available in 50mm and 75mm widths. Brackets only suitable for 50mm posts (75mm can bolt direct to fascia).

Adjustable Gate Kit
Finish off your Fortitude railings with matching Fortitude gates. Using the adjustable steel gate kit allows you to turn any Fortitude Traditional panel into a complete gate to complement your steel handrailing.
Panels are easily cut to size and completed by combining the cut panel with a set of upright sections, vinyl hinges and a latch. No welding necessary.
