Composite boards fixed with concealed clips
Composite deck boards with channeled grooves for traditional concealed fixings

Fixing your composite deck boards to
Outdure QwickBuild subframe with
concealed decking clips
Fixing using traditional clips
• Ensure joist is flat, face up (green), with the recessed side down.
• Fix clips to beams with specialised fixing screws (76SS4250DB), using existing seam lines to ensure precision, then slot in next board in run.
• Repeat process until run complete.
Concealed fixings available:
Mineral boards fixed to battens
Solid mineral boards without channeled grooves fixed to polymer battens

Fixing your mineral deck boards to
Outdure QwickBuild subframe using
screws into polymer battens
Fixing using A855 battens
• Ensure joist is flat, channel-side up (green), with the flat side down. Polymer battens will slot into channel.
• Fix A855 polymer battens into joist using the A620 screw. In low-height scenarios, the batten can also be fixed into the side channel of the batten.
• Your mineral boards can then be fixed using a the prefered fixing screw of the manufacturer into the the batten, rather than the joist via a self-drilling screw.
• We would strongly recommend against fixing mineral boards direct to joist with self-drilling screws.
Innovation in every component
Build using a selection of core system components such as joists and brackets which form the structure, along with fixings for your chosen surface(s). The range also includes supports, such as posts or pedestals, depending on the height of the deck and the substrate on which it will sit. Combined with all the components required for you to install your artificial grass on our aluminium QwickBuild deck frame system.
