Base fix Posiglaze satin anodised aluminium channel system that holds 12mm glass panels in place for use on balustrades and partitions. It allows the installer to easily adjust the glass panels once in place by simply adjusting the bolt screw to align the glass. Fast and simple, saving time and money.
Channel kit includes
- 1 x 6m aluminium channel
- 2 x top cladding for base fix kit only
- 2 x rubber gasket seals
- 4 x clamps per metre
Please note: channel fixing holes are Ø 14mm at 200mm centres to suit Ø 12mm bolts. Height to glass with packer is 24.5mm.

Do you supply glass infills?
We do supply glass infills for all our systems and have a very large range of stock glass panels for all our post, aluminium channel and spigot systems, in both toughened and PVB laminates.
Do the systems meet Building Regulations?
Building Regulations must always be considered with both new properties and renovation. The safety of any handrail or balustrade safety is always something that must be considered. Domestic, commercial and areas where people congregate all have different loading requirements. If you have any doubts at all you should always check with your Local Building Inspector. Compliance with Part M and Part K of Building Regulations may be required.
How high is the handrail?
We make them to conform to Building Regulations and they are 1100mm high on straight runs and 900mm high on stairs/slopes.
Do you sell fixing bolts?
We have a wide range of fixings and drill bits available. We advise that you always use coated or stainless steel bolts, anchors and screws for our stainless steel Balustrades and railings. We do offer suggested fixings for use with different substrates but as we don?t know exactly what you will be fixing to, you will need to decide on the most appropriate fixings for your particular installation.
