DDA Handrail Fittings
F.H.Brundle's DDA handrail fittings range provides a complete, compliant system for accessible handrailing on stairs, ramps, and walkways in commercial, public, and residential buildings, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Approved Document M, Approved Document K, and BS 8300. The range is built around 48.3mm and 42.4mm tube and uses expansive tube clamp fittings and key clamps that support the galvanised steel tube from the underside, leaving an unobstructed, easy-grip top surface for wheelchair users and ambulant disabled people. Core fittings include upright connectors, handrail curves, wall brackets, intermediate brackets , end returns, 90-degree bends, and adjustable bends, all available in galvanised, black powder-coated, and yellow powder-coated finishes. Railing side supports (141D/145D), side palm fixings (146D), internal joints (150C), twin handrail sockets, assist expanding fittings, and wall-mounted handrail joiners are also stocked. Pre-made concrete-in and bolted-down DDA posts for 48.3mm tube are available in hot-dip galvanised and black powder-coated finishes. DDA return bends with 300mm legs are stocked in galvanised, black, and yellow. DDA Durbar stair treads (1,000mm and 1,250mm wide, 265 x 4.5mm, 50mm turn-up) complete the system.
