Crossbar System

The Crossbar System is F.H.Brundle's modular horizontal infill solution for handrail and balustrade applications where a glazed panel is not required. Individual components bolt together to form a contemporary multi-rail barrier, with up to seven rails fitted as standard. The infill bars are available as 12mm diameter solid bar in Grade 304 (3m) and Grade 316 (3m), and as 12mm x 1mm wall hollow tube in both 304 and 316 in 3m lengths. Crossbar holders for 42.4mm and 48.3mm tube mounting use dual screw clamping in both 304 and 316 grades, with a flat-mounting variant  for wall or flat-surface fixing. Inline and 90-degree tube connectors are stocked in both grades for joining bar lengths. Assembled posts with welded base, cover, and seven bar holders are available pre-built for 42.4mm and 48.3mm tube. End balls (20mm, glue-fix) and angle joint connectors for 12mm round bar are also stocked in both 304 and 316. Full installation guidance is available in the Crossbar Installation Manual.
