Self-Closing Gates

F.H.Brundle's self-closing safety gates are spring-loaded, adjustable barriers that retrofit onto new or existing handrail structures to provide a controlled access point. All gates close automatically behind the user and are supplied with hinges, posts, and slam post. The range spans three tube diameters: 33.7mm, 42.4mm, and 48.3mm galvanised steel, in left- and right-hand variants. Finished height is 1,100mm with a tube clamp / key clamp fitted; post centres are 1,070mm. Single-leaf (1m) and double-leaf (1.8m) options are available in galvanised or yellow powder-coated finish, and all can be cut to size on site. Fabricated safety gate kits with two posts are stocked in all three diameters for mezzanine and platform applications. The full single gate (1,065mm x 1,000mm) and a half-height universal gate for 25AX series ladders are also available. Base fittings are not supplied.
