Steel Railings

The Fortitude� range is F.H.Brundle's off-the-shelf steel railing and balustrade system, supplied in a UV-resistant black sand powder-coated finish on pre-galvanised steel posts and ready-to-install panels, with no fabrication required. The range covers seven sub-categories to suit residential gardens, balconies, staircases, and light commercial applications. Traditional Panels include fixed railing panels (H 1016mm x W 2370mm and 1200mm) and an adjustable raking panel (H 863mm x W 2320mm) with a concealed pivot point on each spindle, allowing on-site angle adjustment for stairs and slopes without pre-fabrication; posts are available in 50mm and 75mm square bolt-down (1155mm), concrete-in (1562mm), and side-fix fascia variants, with Choice and Superior bracket packs (universal, stair, and horizontal angle) supplied with fixings.

The Contemplation post-and-glass system uses 50mm and 75mm bolt-down posts with round aluminium glass clamps (box of 4) and stocked 10mm clear toughened glass panels in widths from 100mm to 1100mm, all 1024mm tall with dubbed corners. Timeless uses the same modular 50mm post system with 10mm glass panels in 900mm height, for a cleaner low-level look. The Glass Panel System and Glass Slat System both use a 38 x 25mm aluminium channel kit (1.8m, black sand or black gloss RAL 9005) to integrate clear or grey-tinted 8mm glass slats into the Fortitude post framework. The Classic sub-range offers a simpler fixed panel (H 888mm x W 1200mm) on 50mm posts, and the Capping System adds a 70 x 45mm aluminium capping handrail in black sand (3.0m and 5.8m lengths) with a matching undercap, inline connectors, 90-degree corners, adjustable joiners, and wall brackets.
