A substantial drop bolt designed for securing double gates. The auto-locking drop bolt is lowered and rotated so that the lifting plate folds across the edge of the first gate. The drop bolt is now locked in position, closing the second gate prevents the drop bolt being unlocked.

- Ingenious design ensures that the drop bolt cannot be lifted when both dates are closed
