Join Part For Offcuts 240mm - Galvanised Steel
Our Straightcurve® join part for offcuts solves a problem every cut-to-size installation runs into: when a panel is shortened with an angle grinder, the cut end loses its join flange and can no longer connect to the next panel. This galvanised steel join part restores the connection — simply screw it to the cut end through the pre-set guide holes, overlay the panel you're joining, and a few further screws see both panels neatly connected. It's especially useful for perimeter runs where a part-length panel is needed to close the loop, and for regular-shaped beds where each side length is predetermined — and it means no offcut ever goes to waste.
Because the join part overlays the panel face, screw heads are visible on the outside of the bed, and there are two ways to handle that. For a discreet finish, position the join in the least conspicuous spot and use Dacromet screws, which blend into the bright galvanised surface. Or make a feature of it: add further join parts to create a deliberate riveted pattern, even substituting polished bolt heads in place of the discreet screws for an industrial look.
